DISPLAYHUB’S GDPR PRIVACY POLICY (January 2021)

OVERVIEW:

This Policy sets out how and why we will collect, use and disclose your personal information.

INTRODUCTION:

We are Hospitality Digital Services (registered in England with Company No: 12172779) (“we” or “Hospitality Digital Services Limited”) (“HDS”). We are a digital solutions company providing SAAS solutions, digital content to businesses locally and globally. This includes building first-class websites, designing email marketing campaigns and delivering large scale SAAS digital executions for our clients. We have our registered office at The Whitehouse, 25 Abbey Close, Shepshed, Leicester, LE12 9EH. We manage the SAAS website https://my.displayhub.co.uk (the “Site”). We are committed to protecting your personal information and complying with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the General Data Protection Regulations.

HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION ABOUT YOU:

We will collect and process information about you that:

You give us by filling in forms on the Site;
You give us by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise; and/or
Is provided to us by third-parties (such as your employer)

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT:

This information which we collect may be:

Personal and contact details (such as your name, job title, date of birth, address, e-mail address, phone number;
Financial information (such as bank account or credit card details);

HOW WE MAY USE AND DISCLOSE YOUR INFORMATION:

You agree that we have the right to use and disclose your information:

To carry out our obligations arising from any contracts we have entered into in relation to an installation;
With selected third parties including business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors for the performance of any such contracts To our own internal service providers where it necessary for us to do so for them to properly provide their services to us (such as our IT support team);

To provide you with the information, products and services that you request from us.
To notify you about changes to our events or services;
With any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006;

If HDS or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case the information we hold may be one of the transferred assets;

If we are under a duty to disclose or share your information in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our terms of this Policy and other agreements; and
To protect the rights, property, or safety of HDS, our customers, or others.

WHERE WE STORE YOUR INFORMATION:

The information HDS collect will not be transferred to, processed, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area. In the event of such a transfer, we will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with both this Policy and our obligations under UK data protection law.

HOW LONG WE STORE YOUR INFORMATION:

We will store your information for as long as we believe it is reasonably necessary to do so for the purposes for which it was collected. We will review the information which we store periodically to see what we can delete from our systems.

HOW WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE:

We employ a variety of physical and technical measures to keep your personal information safe and to prevent unauthorised access to, or use or disclosure of it. We store electronic data and databases on secure computer systems. We control who has access to them using both physical and electronic means. Our staff receive data protection training and we have a set of detailed data protection procedures which personnel are required to follow when handling personal information.

YOUR RIGHTS:

We want to ensure you remain in control of your personal information. Part of this is making sure you understand your legal rights, which are as follows:

The right to confirmation as to whether or not we have your information and, if we do, to obtain a copy of the personal data;
The right to have certain information provided to you in a portable electronic format, or transmitted to another data controller, where technically feasible;
The right to have inaccurate data rectified;
The right to object to your data being used for marketing or profiling; •
The right to restrict how your personal information is used; and
The right to be forgotten, which allows you to have your data erased in certain circumstances (though this is not an absolute right and may not apply if we need to continue using the information for a lawful reason).
Please keep in mind that there are exceptions to the rights above and, though we will always try to respond to your satisfaction, there may be situations where we are unable to do so. Example: We would not be able to provide information to you if it had been deleted from our systems before we received your request for it. If you are not happy with our response, or you believe that your data protection or privacy rights have been infringed, you should contact the UK Information Commissioner’s Office, which oversees data protection compliance in the UK. ACCEPTANCE OF THIS POLICY:

You can confirm that you accept this policy by completing the policy confirmation process on the Site when you submit your information to us or signing our service level agreement form. If you are submitting information on behalf of a colleague or other third-party, you confirm that you have consent to provide their information to us. As it is necessary to process information to provide our services and events, if you do not agree to this Policy, or do not have such consent, you should not submit the information to us.

WE MAY SUSPEND OR WITHDRAW OUR SITE:

We do not guarantee that our Site, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We may suspend or withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of our Site for business and operational reasons.

CHANGES TO OUR SITE:

We reserve the right to change the Site and this Policy from time to time; such changes will be notified to you where we believe it is necessary to do so.

LAWS APPLICABLE TO ANY DISPUTES:

This Policy, its subject matter and its formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English law. We both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
